Overview
As a Senior Copywriter, you will actively create compelling content while driving the creative vision and strategy across multiple brands. This role demands a hands-on approach—writing, editing, and developing strategic content directly. You will collaborate with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to bring brand stories to life, ensuring that each piece aligns with client objectives and resonates with target audiences. In this role, you won’t just delegate; you’ll roll up your sleeves to produce high-quality work while mentoring and leading your team to excel. Success requires a blend of creative flair, strategic thinking, and practical execution.
Responsibilities
- Write scripts, website copy, social media posts, email campaigns, and other marketing materials tailored to brand objectives.
- Develop and implement content strategies aligned with the personalities and business goals of each brand or client.
- Work closely with designers, art directors, and marketing teams to ensure all messaging is consistent and effective.
- Provide hands-on support to the team by working directly on campaigns while offering guidance, feedback, and mentorship to junior copywriters.
- Manage content calendars to ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Oversee the quality of all copy and content assets to maintain brand voice, tone, and consistency.
- Collaborate with account directors to build strong client relationships, participate in strategy meetings, and align on expectations.
- Monitor campaign performance and analytics, using insights to refine messaging and enhance effectiveness continuously.
- Lead brainstorming sessions to develop creative solutions and innovative ideas for campaigns.
- Present creative concepts and pitches directly to clients with clarity and confidence.
- Work with the art director to ensure that the visual elements complement and elevate the messaging.
- Shape brand standards and content workflows to guarantee consistency across all platforms and channels.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive developments to position brands for differentiation.
Qualification
- An undergraduate degree
- 5 years or more of proven work experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide and inspire a team
- Proven experience in client relationship management and presentations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail
- Strong understanding of content marketing principles, including content creation, targeting, distribution, and performance analysis
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative content ideas
- Experience using content management softwares and analytics tools
- Exceptional organizational and project management abilities
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive content strategies
- Good receptiveness to feedback/adaptability
