Social Ghana is an award-winning full-service advertising agency with a focus on social media & digital, based in Accra. We manage brands’ social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube etc), develop their online strategy, manage their advertising and come up with creative ideas for digital campaigns and projects. We are a young, vibrant team of writers, designers, animators and thinkers who live, work and play on social media.
We develop seasonal campaigns and create all content in-house, including photography, images, motion graphics, voice-overs and jingles. We are the leaders in social media marketing in Ghana, and have a proven track record since 2013. We recently won the Digital Agency of the Year award at the 2019 Africa Digital Awards.
In addition to that, we are also experts in branding and traditional marketing, including radio, billboard, TV & radio, activations and experimentials.

Yanfo founded Social Ghana in November 2012, following a career in marketing in the UK and Ghana. His interest in advertising was sparked after an internship at Ogilvy while on summer holiday in Ghana in 2007, where he worked on a Vodafone campaign. After gaining his bachelors degree in English from the College of Wooster, Ohio, he moved to London where he worked as a Marketing Assistant at Volvo UK. He helped them establish their social media presence on Facebook and Twitter, and also implemented the strategy for their local and national advertising campaigns. After his stint at Volvo, he moved to London-based award-winning digital agency Found UK where he worked as a Social Media Manager. After two successful years in London, he moved back to Ghana and worked as a Copywriter and Digital Strategist at Publicis West Africa. He wrote ads for Vodafone, Samsung, Milo, Nescafe, Guinness and Maggi. He founded Social Ghana in November 2012, where he has overseen over 100 clients and manages a team of 19 designers, copywriters, account managers, animators, photographers and illustrators. In 2013, he was featured on CNN’s ‘African Startup’ and has given talks for the Advertising Association of Ghana, Ghana Center for Democratic Development, Accra Rotary Club and Facebook.
Kofi Ayeh Akrofi
Kofi Ayeh Akrofi is the Creative Director at Social Ghana. He has worked in the advertising industry for over 10 years, managing brands such as Guinness and DKT.
Samuel Adjepong has worked as Account Director at Social Ghana since 2015, where he has managed a host of clients from FanMilk Ghana to Goldkey Properties. He has a Masters Degree in Tourism Management and Marketing from the University of Bournemouth.

Senior Account Manager
Nana Aba Hackman is a Senior Account Manager at Social Ghana, and is one of the founding members of the company. She graduated from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia in 2011.
Senior Account Manager & HR
Katsina joined Social Ghana in 2015, and came with a wealth of experience in the fields of Sales, Marketing and Human Resource Management. She has a degree in French & Business Administration from the University of Richmond in Virginia. Over the last 7 years, she’s worked in a variety of roles in different organizations such as the United Nations Telecom Union, the United Nations Population Fund, University of Richmond Office of Admissions, Inter ActiveCorp in New York and Social Ghana in Accra. She has built some strong and distinct skills in the areas of social media management and marketing for businesses – she is a certified Twitter for business personnel, and has participated in Social Media Week (London), the world’s biggest annual global social media conference. Katsina is a Senior Account Manager and has managed brands such as FanMilk Nigeria, Shea Moisture, The Royal Senchi Hotel, Moet & Chandon, Stockfox, Appolonia City and Petra Energy. Within her role as an Account Manager, she’s led teams in developing marketing strategies and to produce creative content for brands. She is fluent in French and an artist at heart – you’ll often find her sketching or bringing her designs to life digitally using the professional design software Adobe Illustrator.
