OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
As a National Service Personnel, you’ll act as a support to our team’s success. In the capacity of content creator you will support the content team in creating out of the box content and copy for our clients or you’ll manage our brand’s social media presence and strategically buy advertising space to amplify their reach. As a graphic designer, you will create various graphic designs, illustrations, motion graphics and video production for our clients. Account managers at Social Ghana typically ensure that our clients stay happy and that they are getting value for the business they do with us and you will support our team of account managers to make this possible. To excel in the various roles, you’ll need to be creative, proactive, have a sense of urgency and be passionate about creativity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute creative content for brands.
- Participate in ideation and concepts with Content Creators and Copywriters
- Maintain a strong eye for visual composition
- Demonstrate effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Design and creative support for the Social Ghana brand
- Support content development for assigned brands, ensuring alignment with brand personality
- Develop compelling content for @socialghana
- Craft captivating copy
- Collaborate with the Design Team to brainstorm creative content ideas
- Upload content to digital platforms
- Timely execution of content plans
- Actively participation in client meetings and brainstorms
- Stay updated on trends, consumer preferences, digital technologies, and real-time online conversations to enhance content quality for your brands
- Mood-boarding for campaigns and production
- Engage in social listening, monitoring and competitor analysis to identify content opportunities
- Measure content success through analytical reports
- Managing the client accounts whilst developing and maintaining good long-term relationships with current and potential clients
- Liaising between clients and internal team members to ensure timely and successful delivery of proposed solutions according to clients’ needs
- Resolving issues to maintain and strengthen clients’ trust and confidence
- Reporting to the Account Director and/or Senior Account Manager with regards to client accounts*
- Ensure timely delivery of content, creatives, campaigns and any other design related work
- Support timely delivery of strategies, budgeting and any other administrative tasks in relation to clients’ needs
- Project and production management for all clients’ deliverables
- Liaising with vendors for production in relation to clients’ needs
- Attending meetings with potential and existing clients and noting next steps after said meetings
- Preparing and presenting reports to clients
- Maintaining an updated knowledge of the Company’s products and services in order to upsell and engage with potential and existing clients
QUALIFICATIONS
- An undergraduate degree
- Proactive, creative and has a sense of urgency to tasks.
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills
- Advanced knowledge of Google Workspace.
- The ability to work under pressure
- The ability to work independently whilst still being able to contribute to the team
- The ability to work professionally in a high energy, fast paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach
- Passion for social media and digital marketing
